Description
The museum in Goyang-dong of Goyang City displays Latin America's cultural items, history, and social aspects from ancient to modern times covering the Maya, Inca, and Aztec civilizations. It was opened in October of 1994 as the first foreign-culture museum in the country. Displayed here are the earthenware items used by the Indians who settled in the highlands of Mexico and Peru and masks used by Mexicans. There are four display rooms; Mask Room, Traditional Arts Crafts Room, Stone-and Wooden-ware Room, and Earthenware Room.
Transportation
Bus: Take the bus #158-3 from Gupabal Station of the Orange Line to Goyang-dong and walk for about five minutes.
Car: Take the road #1 to pass the Gupabal Intersection to take Road #39 for Uijeongbu.
